Picture this. Days up the mountain spending quality time with family. Nights at the lodge relaxing and getting to know new friends we'd like to invite you to become a part of all of this. Cheeseman is a great place to surround yourself with your kind of people and really get the most out of your leisure time.

This is the idea behind Cheeseman. Good times, great people and an intimate place to call your own. Becoming a member means you can enjoy the benefits of the great facilities on offer and secure your place as part of this great community.

Ski field facilities include:

  • Groomed slopes for light, dry powder
  • Fabulous off-piste skiing
  • Easy access to Craigieburn Range for alpine touring
  • A well-maintained access road

As well as skiing and boarding, Cheeseman offers ice skating, bush walks, mountain biking the list of activities goes on. All year round, it provides the best outdoor entertainment on offer. Great facilities and a cosy atmosphere keep people coming back year after year.

For your convenience, the field offers great facilities for use during your stay. The brand new, purpose built Day Lodge offers a warm, friendly environment with large open decks to enjoy the spectacular alpine views. A wide range of hot food, snacks and beverages are available from the licensed Cockayne Cafe.

The Snowline Lodge is designed to accommodate 70 people. After a day on the slopes you can relax by the fire with a meal prepared by our resident cook. Further accommodation for up to 38 people is available at Forest Lodge, nestled amidst a native beech forest and located halfway along the 12km access road. Designed with 4 and 6 bed bunkrooms, the Lodge boasts modern facilities. The unique location comes complete with an open air ice rink. Both lodges are equipped with kitchen facilities, dining and living areas, a drying room, bathrooms and working areas - everything you might need for a comfortable stay.

Annual Subscription:
Your annual subscription gives you unlimited use of ski and board facilities during the season. Your photo ID pass means you have full access to the mountain.

  • Note: A family membership is comprised of 2 adults and up to 3 junior members. Children under 10 years old are treated as honorary members in any given family, and their names should be registered with the Club.

Work Parties:
As part of the clubs constitution, all members over 18 years of age are required to complete two work parties each year. These are a great way to get to know fellow members and really feel part of Club life. If you cannot complete your two days, you can pay the alternative levy of $125 per day. If you're really keen and wish to take part in more than two days, you'll receive great discount vouchers for skiing and accommodation.

Ski Holiday Packages:
Take advantage of our great ski packages on offer. Make a day of it with accommodation, cooked meals, ski passes and lessons taken care of over your 24-hour stay. Ski packages start at 4pm on the day of arrival and finish at 4pm the following day. Choose to stay any number of days up to a whole week. During your stay, light duties are rostered and shared amongst guests. These include helping out with tidying-up, dishes, and meal preparation.
